Q If I need to service my electric scooter, what should I do? A Every electric scooter we sell comes backed by a manufacturer's warranty that is explained in the scooter's owner's manual. In the event you need to repair your scooter under warranty, please contact the manufacturer at the number found in the manual. A technician will be scheduled to come and repair your scooter. Many of the scooters we sell come with an additional one year in-home service contract that covers parts and labor that is paid for by us. This contract is still through the manufacturer however. In this case too, please contact the manufacturer for warranty service and repair.
Q I've found a lot of other sites have hidden charges, is this the case with Electric Scooters 4 Less? A The price you see is the price you pay when you call us to order. Many times we can even offer you a lower price over the phone! Internet orders have a $5.00 handling fee applied to each order. This means that even if you order 100 items, you will only be charged the handling fee one time. Whether you order by phone or over the Internet, we are committed to providing you with the lowest costs and the most transparent ordering process possible.
Q How much does shipping cost? A Absolutely nothing! Shipping costs have been included in all the prices that you see for deliveries to the lower 48 states. For shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, or international delivery, there will be an additional shipping charge based on the actual cost of delivery. In these cases, please call us and we will be more than happy to give you a quote for the exact shipping costs.
Q Will my scooter come with batteries? A Yes. All scooters are shipped with fresh, maintenance-free Gel or AGM batteries. These batteries are rated "non-spillable" and are safe for transportation on airlines and all other forms of public transportation. We recommend that you call your airline before traveling for more details.
Q Will you file my order with Medicare? A Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service for you. However, we will give you an invoice for your order that you can file with the appropriate agency on your own behalf.
Q How long will it take for my scooter to be delivered? A All scooters are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Scooters that are currently in stock take 7 to 12 business days to arrive. Scooters that are not in stock require an additional 7 to 15 business days to build before shipping plus 2 to 7 days for delivery. This means that the total time for delivery of out-of-stock scooters is from 9 to 22 days.
