Upon receipt of your electric scooter you have 10 days to inspect it for damage or defects in build. In the case that damage or defects are found, the manufacturer will repair it or replace it at the manufacturer's discretion, for free.
In the case that you choose to return the scooter for reasons other than damage or defects, you have 10 days to call us for a Return Authorization Release Form. After returning this form to us, we will give you a Return Authorization Number. You will be responsible for the return shipping charge and a 15% restocking fee.
If you can no longer use the original box for returns, you can purchase one from us for the cost of the box and shipping. After the manufacturer has received your return in like-new condition, we will refund the purchase price of the item less the outbound freight charge and restocking fee.
Cancellations: If you cancel the order after it has already shipped you will be responsible for shipping charges both ways and a restocking fee.
Return Policies for Other Products
Adjustable Beds: Adjustable beds are subject to a $250 charge for in-home setup, a $250 charge for in-home reboxing, a $250 charge for outbound shipping, and a $250 charge return shipping in addition to the standard return policy above. Any mattress that has been used is non-returnable.
Adjustable Bed Linens: Adjustable bed linens are custom made and therefore non-returnable except in the case of manufacturing defects.
Bath Lifts: Bath lifts cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Repairs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Dumbwaiters: Dumbwaiters are custom made for every order therefore we cannot accept any returns. If you wish to cancel your order, it will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Lift Chairs: Lift chairs that are ordered in stock configurations are subject to the 10 day return period listed above. "Built Chairs", which are any lift chairs that have upgraded or crossover fabrics, non-standard options, or Leather Lift Chairs, are non-returnable.
Reclining Massage Chairs: Reclining massage chairs cannot be returned. Repairs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Stair Lifts: Stair lifts are a custom made product and cannot be returned. Repairs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Cancellations are possible for $200 if the stair lift's track has not been cut yet.
Curved Stair Lifts
Each curved stair lift must be custom manufactured to suit the unique requirements of the site. The unit is manufactured to the exact dimensions of the site application as determined by the digital survey and no two applications are alike. Lifts go into factory production immediately upon submission of the order to the factory which is after customer signs off on the CAD drawing. Accordingly, AmeriGlide has a substantial investment in resources and labor and as such we have a 25% cancellation fee for any order cancelled after the measurement survey but prior to submission for production, 50% once the lift is in production. Once a custom stair lift order has been shipped it cannot be canceled or returned. The shipment cannot be refused. No refund will be made for orders of this status.
